Hoje ao passar pelo blog Mãos Dadas que aconselho a ler é um hino á dignidade humana, onde nos fala de doentes em situação terminal, e como os pequenos gestos de carinho, de simpatia, o toque o respeito, o ouvir as suas histórias e os objectivos que ainda tem na vida, são demasiado importantes para estes pacientes.Toda esta leitura me fez lembrar, um pedido que a minha mãe há muito fazia "GOSTAVA DE TER UMA CADEIRA DE BALOIÇO" .Pensei logo que lhe havia de oferecer a tão desejada cadeira .Mas não calhou naquele ano, ficou para o ano seguinte não foi no Natal.....vai ser nos anos dela......mas já era tarde e ela partiu , tendo ficado o seu desejo por realizar.
Fiquei com uma amargura tão grande, que se pudesse voltar atrás no proprio dia que ela me pediu ia comprar a cadeira.
Daqui tirei uma lição, aos nossos idosos aos nossos pais e familiares e aos nossos doentes já que somos impotentes para aliviar a dor, pelo menos satisfaçam o mais pequeno dos seus sonhos. E sobretudo oiçam-nos, com carinho com sorriso e que nunca se arrependam de que poderiam ter feito mais.....

Ana, tão bela esta lição que nos dá. Tem razão quando diz que devemos fazer tudo o que podemos pelos nossos idosos, mas também é verdade que nunca esperamos que eles partam, assim, quase sem nos apercebermos...é que nos habituamos a tê-los e embora este receio nos visite, fastamos a ideia, talvez na esperança de afugentarmos o que não queremos.
Certamente deu-lhe muito mais e tudo o que deu foi mais importante, do que o que não lhe deu.
